Friday 18th – Sunday 20th December 2015: Amsterdam – Wasted Laboratory

Amsterdam was ranked the second best city to live, 12th globally on quality of living, 3rd in innovation and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, receiving more than 4.63 million international visitors annually, this is excluding the 16 million day trippers visiting the city every year.

With that experience we would like to visit the city with a local friend and taking part of a great project runned by CITIES Foundation:  WASTED Laboratory

“This hands-on workshop brings you into our Laboratory, teaching you how to process plastic waste into WASTED Blocks. We start with a plastic archeology quiz to learn about different types of plastic. Next, you learn how you can turn plastic waste into valuable new material and products. You’ll sort, melt, press and more. In the end, we use the WASTED Blocks we created to build objects. This workshop is especially fun if you bring your own plastic waste to transform into something new.”

After that futuristic experience we’ll organize a special dinner in an exclusive location with local people.
